Sharon Joseph serves as President and CEO of Harlem Commonwealth Council and its CDFI-certified Harlem Entrepreneurial Fund. A former executive at Goldman Sachs and Merrill Lynch, she brings more than twenty years of experience in finance, wealth management, entrepreneurship, and community development. Under her leadership, the Harlem Entrepreneurial Fund significantly expanded its lending portfolio and continues to provide critical access to capital for entrepreneurs across Upper Manhattan. Sharon is a recognized leader in economic mobility, community wealth-building, and inclusive investment.
