Germaine McIver-Cherry

Germaine McIver-Cherry is Sr. Program Director at the Alliance. She has extensive knowledge and experience in managing a portfolio of programs with a capital access focus for organizations in the economic development ecosystem. She previously served as Innovation Portfolio Manager with the Association for Enterprise Opportunity (AEO). Germaine earned both a BSW and MSW degree from North Carolina Central University, where she also served as an independent consultant for Shaw University, Project Support Team Coordinator for Frontline Solutions International, LLC, and various positions at SunTrust Bank. In her spare time, she enjoys fishing and spending lots of time with her grandchildren.
