POSITION SUMMARY
The Vice President of Impact supports and advances the mission of Access Plus Capital to build strong partnerships; drive engagement to support community impact; generate a variety of resources necessary to enhance the organization’s ability to meet its mission of impact, and utilize data to support and create solutions for sustainable outcomes throughout Access Plus Capital.
Access Plus Capital is community development financial institution and Small Business Administration (SBA) Approved Microloan Intermediary Lender. It offers financing and training services to small businesses and entrepreneurs in central California. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Community Agenda Building
- Collaborates with the CEO to enhance and develop relationships with the partner agencies to ensure a positive, mutually supportive environment of collaboration to address the needs of business owners.
- Plans, implements, and manages lending programs based on community trends and priorities.
- Convenes community conversations to determine/review goals in the areas of entrepreneurship, capital, and equity.
- Serves as the subject matter expert for internal and external inquiries and issues related to specific impact strategies.
- Generates awareness and community support around Access Plus Capital’s Community Impact agenda through presentations and activities as needed.
Community Impact Outcomes
- Provides technical assistance and training on reporting outcomes/program evaluation measurement data.
- Works with the CEO, COO, and partners to develop measurable outcomes/program evaluation and indicators.
- Manage, coordinate, and execute the collection of impact data from the organization, partner organizations, clients and stakeholders, providing support for timely, accurate, and consistent reporting.
- Analyze, compile, and produce key insights that can easily inform multiple audiences such as Leadership Team, Board, program and department management, clients and community partners.
- Works with the Communications Specialist to prepare and deliver clear and compelling reports, presentations, and communications based on research on analysis.
Grant Funded Programs
- Provides oversight to grant submissions, management, and reporting.
- Develops and maintains a system for internal grant management.
- Partner with program and business services managers to ensure culturally response services to disadvantaged comminutes and small, diverse businesses.
Other
- Responsible for supervising assigned staff, interns and volunteers; recruitment, performance management and other personnel processes.
- In partnership with the CEO and COO creates infrastructure and oversight for the Impact Team, which includes programs, business services, fund development, and communications.
- Travels for agency business using reliable transportation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Economics, Social Sciences, Mathematics, Statistics and/or Communications required.
Experience:
- Minimum of seven (7) years of experience in program management, grant writing, research, measurement, and/or program evaluation.
- Minimum of three (3) years of direct staff supervision.
- Experience working with Community Development Financial Institutions Fund (CDFI) or a non-profit agency highly desirable.
