Erica L. King serves as the Senior Vice President of Economic Development and Lending at the African American Alliance of CDFI CEOs. She oversees the Black Renaissance Fund’s lending programs and collaborates on economic development strategies. With over 20 years in economic and community development, Erica is a social impact leader focused on equitable solutions for underserved communities. She holds a finance degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago and has extensive experience in various lending roles, including credit analysis and portfolio management.
Previously, Erica led Greenwood Archer Capital, a Chicago-based CDFI, where she developed programs aiding over 5,700 small businesses to access $30 million in capital, predominantly serving disadvantaged businesses. She founded Equity Centered LLC, a consultancy supporting organizations in providing equitable economic resources. Erica also holds board positions with Proofing Station and SomerCor 504, and is involved in several advisory committees promoting equity.
